Welcome to Cattlemensclub.com. I am Mike Leishman owner of Rose Canyon LLC. I have been involved in the livestock industry for over fifty years. Through the decades producers still use basic inputs in animal agriculture. Innovation and technology I provide can increase benefits to producers and consumers.

Incorporating ultrasound on commercial or seed stock operations will save generations of time to develop and maintain improvement in carcass quality, improving overall cow efficiency or simple design of an end product for the consumer. Ultrasound scanning can determine ribeye size, marbling, back fat, and modern software, determine ribeye score which corresponds to retail product. As a trained technician I can determine the degree of tenderness and stress with extremely high accuracy.

Individual feed conversion can be determind in any group feeding situation. Cornell Value Discovery System (CVDS) is a mathematical model requiring inputs. In the case of the CVDS, the inputs are gain on test, carcass measures, ration ingredient analysis, and environmental factors.
